The overall goal of the project is to enhance support to the Philippine government to eliminate all forms of violence against women and girls, especially as it relates to domestic violence, rape, trafficking and sexual harassment. The project aims to contribute to reduced prevalence of violence against women through an improved enabling environment, including developing institutional capacities to provide gender-responsive and culturally sensitive and quality VAW services and facilities at the national, regional, and local levels. The government partners are the National Commission on the Role of Filipino Women (NCRFW), Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), Department of Justice (DOJ), and Civil Service Commission (CSC).
